Angela Canales is Bloom’s Founder and CEO. She is deeply passionate about helping girls from backgrounds like her own thrive in a world that often seems like everyone else has it all figured out. During her high school and undergraduate journeys, she frequently felt lost and isolated. Angela rarely saw successful people who looked like her or who were the first in their families to pursue higher education. She often battled these stigmas alone, relying on determination and perseverance. Now, Angela wants to create a safe space for girls like herself, where they can find guidance and support without hesitation—and that is how BLOOM was born!
