Lizette is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Marketing and Information Systems. She has experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, analytics and brand management. Lizette joined BLOOM because mentorship played a crucial role in her own journey as a first-generation student, guiding her through the complexities of early career preparation. She believes that mentorship is more than just guidance; it's a lifeline and a bridge to opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach. This is what drives Lizette to support other first-generation women, providing them with the same support that have been pivotal in her own journey. Aside from her professional endeavors, Lizette likes to thrift, read, go to festivals, and explore new coffee shops!
